I bought this for my mother for mother's day and I don't have a lot of experience with jewelry myself. It was packaged very securely when I got it so as to protect the pendant. I did, however, find the image on the site slightly misleading. The back of the pendant is hollowed out, but I thought it would be solid all around the heart outlines. Maybe someone with more jewelry experience would have expected that, but I didn't. The silver heart did not have the same luster as in the picture either. I still think it's a nice piece, just different than I though based on the image.

I bought this for my 10 yr old daughter and she loved it. It seems to be good quality and the price was reasonable, much better quality than items you get at a mall for the same price.
